Akkaya Valley is one of the undiscovered area in Turkey. The Akkaya Lake makes the stunning view and with its unique beach which look like Patara Beach offers numbers of activities.

On arrival at Akkaya Valley you will be instantly overwhelmed by stunning natural surroundings and scenic  views of its lake and the backdrop of mountains. You can take a short boat ride to the private beach club to sunbath or swim in the lake. There you also find spa treatments, a volleyball court, as well as a beach bar and a restaurant.

For something a little more active guests can enjoy a canoe trip or use fishing equipment to fish at the Akkaya lake - your catch can then be prepared for dinner at the beach restaurant. A sailing trip on the Akkaya lake at night in the light of the starts will be especially memorable.

Akkaya Organic Farm

The Akkaya Organic Farm is 30,000sqm of farmland in the Akkaya Valley producing organic food grown without the use of any chemical additives, pesticides, hormones or synthetic fertilizers. The fruit and vegetables grown there are irrigated with natural spring water and fertilized with the natural fertilizers of the sakiz lambs bred on the farm in Akkaya.

The result is unique tasting food and naturally fresh fruit and vegetable which are used in Akkaya Garden Restaurant and for sale in our Organic Market for homeowners t prepare their own organic meals at home. We also recommend our organic olive oil and organic tomato jam. Homeowners are also welcomed to pick oranges and pomegranates straight from the trees.

As from 2012 Akkaya Valley homeowners will be offered a free small plat of land of the farm plant up as they wish whether it be with vegetables or decorative flowers.

Equestrian Farm

The equestrian Farm in the Akkaya Valley is set on a plot of land of 16,000sqm in size and is a home to not just to horses but also to many other animals and ducks on its small lake.

For those who own a horse at the farm or who would like to bring their horse to Turkey, we provide both stables and grooming services; providing a comfortable place for them to stay. Training, both theoretical and practical, and tours of the farm are also available for those with little or no horse-riding experience. We recommended a horse ride for those who would like to relax or for those animal lover children.

Coast/Beach

There are many beaches local to Dalaman. Sarigerme, a long stretch of golden sand this beach has good facilities as well as a life guard. Iztuzu beach is famous for the nesting of turtles and is accessible from Dalyan via the boat taxi. It is also accessable by car.

Travel

Dalaman international airport is a 30 min drive away from the villa, your journey to the villa is well signposted. Although a car is recommended it isn't essential if you just want to chill and have a "do nothing holiday",as transfers and food shopping trip into town can be arranged

Distances

Dalaman for local food shopping and restaurants is 15 mins by car. Dalyan for shopping, boat taxi, beach, restaurants, ancient tombs and mud baths 40 mins by car. Gocek for an up market visit, harbour, shopping, restaurants, market, also 40 mins by car. Oludeniz 1.5 hrs drive from the villa.
